Edison Township Public Schools is the first K-12 district in the United States to leverage the Blackboard Mobile Central platform widely used by higher education institutions, including Stanford, Duke and Northwestern. In this session, Richard O'Malley, superintendent, Edison Township public schools, will share how Edison is leveraging mobile technology to transform the way students, teachers, parents and the larger community engage and connect with each other in all parts of the educational experience. Participants will learn about:why Edison decided to go mobile; how the application was developed and marketed to the community; and the impact the app is having on the Edison community.
