Welcome to the Workshop 2012 Conference Schedule. This is where you can learn about all of the presentations and learning opportunities at Workshop. You can create your schedule by selecting the sessions you are interested in participating in. Your selection is not a reservation for that session, but rather, a simply way for you to create and view the sessions you hope to attend.
In 2010, Hopewell Valley Regional School District’s Timberlane Middle School principal developed the idea to offer pre-engineering courses as elective choices in the school. He was faced with the challenges of finding appropriate curriculum, incorporating classes into the existing structure and funding the facilities teacher professional development transition. Session participants will learn how the district and the school were able to collaborate with outside organizations to launch this program and receive funding from sources such as foundations, corporations and an engineering trade organization, while generating enthusiastic support from teachers, parents and the community at large
