Welcome to the Workshop 2012 Conference Schedule. This is where you can learn about all of the presentations and learning opportunities at Workshop. You can create your schedule by selecting the sessions you are interested in participating in. Your selection is not a reservation for that session, but rather, a simply way for you to create and view the sessions you hope to attend.
This year, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) worked with curriculum directors and supervisors, university professors, and other educators to write student learning objectives (SLOs) aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English Language Arts and for Mathematics. This session will discuss version 1.0, currently posted on the NJDOE website for teachers and districts to use when developing their own curricula. The model curricula are required for schools designated as priority or focus schools that do not yet have their own high quality curricula to meet the demands of the CCSS.
